Apple Remote Desktop 1.2

Hi,
My work just got a new Mac server with leopard server. We have ARD 1.2 but I cannot get it to run. When I run the admin pack it goes through the normal steps and says the install succeeded but when I go to open it I get the message: "The Remote Desktop software doesn't appear to be installed correctly. Please verify it is installed and restart this computer".

I am still kinda new to all this Mac stuff so the only way i know to verify the installation is to make sure it shows up in the apps folder. I have also downloaded from Apple.com the update pack but when that tries to install it says it cant find the older version.

Any help would be much apprciated.

Well, it seems that ARD 1.2 is not for OS X, but Classic, which will not run under Leopard. And looking at the 1.2.4 update running under 10.1, it's rather old.
