Re: mac user

I don't know. I can't even get to my Hotmail with the newest Safari on my Mac. Microsoft has recently changed their Hotmail system to something new, that they control, and have not released the details of the protocol yet. If the IE5 that is for OS 9 doesn't work, then I'm not sure. iCab is the only web browser that has been updated that still works with OS 9.

Re: mac user

OUCH!!! OS 9 is not supported by apple and therefor not supported by me... also MS does not support IE 5 and below...

Seriously you should upgrade but if you cannot for some reason you should buy a cheap Vista or XP pc just to surf the net...

Re: mac user

The point is not browser but Java. To get hotmail worked you have to update Os X with newest java. Apple > Software update

Re: mac user

Being they are using OS 9, not OS X, doing software update will not help. And if you do need JAVA, I couldn't even tell you if there is a version for OS 9 that is anywhere near what the current version is.
