Microsoft Messenger for Mac
I'm really new to Macs and trying to download Microsoft Messenger since I communicate with a lot of people through it. I went to the Microsoft website where it has downloads for Mac, and I went to the ones for OS X and tried to download Messenger 3.5.1. It did download as a DMG file, but it won't run as a program. What do I do?

Re: Microsoft Messenger for Mac
DMG files are an archive file, kind of like a zip. You double click on it, and a white disk icon will show up on the desktop. Now you open it and then if I remember correctly with MSN messenger, you copy the MSN program to your Applications folder. Once it's in the folder on your Mac, you double click it and then it will finish installing and set up, and then you can use it.
