[SOLVED] Lost Wireless PC Connectivity to Airport
Not sure exactly where to post this but I'm starting here. I just did the latest OSX Leopard update today which involved Airport (firmware plus, I believe, some software changes).
After the update my mac works fine via the Airport wireless connection (although I typically use ethernet to connect) but the 2 PC's in my house are no longer able to connect to the Airport (Extreme) device. The connection is secure via WPA2 Personal (per network connections nomenclature). I absolutely am sure I'm using the correct key. Also, I would like to change the name of the wireless network from "Apple Network 7a7a79" to something else but it's not at all obvious to me how I can do this. Please help ... thanks! Re: Lost Wireless PC Connectivity to Airport
Being I've never had one, I'm not sure, but I do believe that that information and settings are changed via the Airport Admin apps in the utilities folder on the Mac. I'd double check the password name and type, and then reenter it in on the Windows PCs.
