10.4.11 update problems
After trying to update my os to 10.4.11 my computer crashed. It unsuccessfully installed the os, and now it will only boot into Darwin. I can still login but I don't know how to restore my box to its old os, and I can't seem to get it to boot from a cd either. Any suggestions?

Re: 10.4.11 update problems
What are the hardware specs of the Mac, and are you using an Apple keyboard? If so, stick the CD in, and then hold down the "Option" key when you start it, and keep holding it until you get a boot menu, give it a bit of time, and it will list all the bootable drives that the Mac can use, including CDs. Click on the CD icon, and then the arrow, and it will boot from the CD.
