iBook Problems
OK, so I have been using my iBook G4 happily (and a bit heavily) for the past 2 1/2 years, but recently, in the past few months it has really been lagging, and whenever I log in. I have to wait at least 20 minutes for the icons, spotlight, and time, plus all of the other things on the left side of the menu bar, to start up. Is this normal? Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Re: iBook Problems
Then that is your problem. You need to have at least 5 Gig free for it to run correctly. The OS uses the hard drive to swap things with the RAM and to keep temp files, and if there is not enough space, then the Mac will run very slowly. I always try to keep at least 10% of the drive total free, not less than 10 gig for my own systems, and haven't had any issues. Sounds like it's time to either clean the drive of old files, or get a new, bigger hard drive.
