CD Lable Writers for Mac and HP Printers

I am a relative 'newbie' when it comes to burning CD/DVDs but I have now had occasion to burn a few now that I have my new iMac.

I have recently purchased a Hewlett Packard C7280 (All-in-one) printer. It doesn't have a dedicated CD printing drawer, so I am wondering if anyone knows of a software package (and probably consumables too) that will permit me to print labels on my home made CDs using my new printer?

My operating system is MacOS 10.5.2 and I have an Intel Core 2 Duo iMac. The CDs I use are Maxell CD-R (in packs of 50) and the DVDs I use are TDK DVD-R (single sided).

For posterity purposes (i.e. nothing to do with this post - so please ignore) the date on which I am posting this is 18 April 2008.

Well, the date is on your post automatically on this forum. As for printing CD labels, you can get CD label kits from any computer store, just make sure that the one you get has Mac software. I bought an Epson printer because I wanted to be able to print on CDs, and Epson is the only people that sell their CD printing printers in the USA.

Yes. But just the month and the year.

"Epson is the only people that sell their CD printing printers in the USA."

As I said, I don't have an Epsom but also I'm not in the USA. So I reckon that maybe I would be better be getting in contact with HP themselves.

Thanks for your comments.
