Number tab problem
On Word 2004, operating on Mac 10.4:
The automatic numbering has developed a glitch. When I hit tab, it should indent and turn the number to a. However, it just indents and leave the number as is. Example: It should look like this: 1. xxxx 2. yyyy a. zzzx b. ssss But when I hit tab, to automatically create the a. & b. subheadings, the cursor jumps and the number 2. stays unmoved. Curiously, it works fine on an identical computer in the room. I have examined every setting meticulously and found no difference. What is goig on? Roger |
