Need a wireless adapter for an E-Mac
Hi,
I am trying to hook my neighbors EMAc up to a wireless network. What are my options for adapters? Am I limited to a USB adapter or are there other choices? any suggestions? thanks |

Re: Need a wireless adapter for an E-Mac
it has a wireless card slot in it. if it is the 700mhz emac, then it takes the old airport (wireless b) card, but that can only be found on either ebay, or at places that sell used apple laptop parts. if it is any of the fast emacs, then you can get a new airport extreme (wireless g) card from apple. as for installing the wireless card inside the emac, you can find how-tos online in many places. now you won't loose a usb port.
