Video drivers for mac
Well a good friend of mine was disappointed when he found out he only had a nvidia 7300 video card in his power mac. He was looking to upgrade but when he asked me ( being a PC person ) I didn't really know what drivers are available or if they are the same deal as the PC ones where 1 driver covers a range of cards. Not knowing this I told him I'm not sure if he could upgrade to a 7900 Gt or something along those lines. I did see a X1900XT mac edition but they are like $650 here in OZZ and I'm sure he does not want to spend that much
Any info on what is possible would be greatly appreciated

Re: Video drivers for mac
Well it seems Apple are not really that nice when it comes to variety, There is not a lot of choice when it comes to video selection. Seems they want to be very selective on what they want there customers to use. You would think they would at least work it so they could use normal video cards.
Another reason i will stay with PC Thanks for the info dai
