printer problems

I have a dell all in one A920 printer that tech support at the store I bought my mac from says I can use but my mac doesn't think so. I am new to the mac world and totally confused. What can I do to fix this problem? Help!!!

i googled the printer number you listed and got a bunch of websites listing that this printer never worked with macs. infact, in dell's support forums, i found several threads stating that this printer is incompatible with the macintosh, and that dell never plans on making it work with macs. so the guy at the store was wrong.

Thank you so much for going to so much trouble for me!! I've been looking around and was finding the same results. There is a guy I work with that thinks he may have an answer for me. He said he is going to try and find some drivers for me on the macintosh store sight. Apparently they have a list of drivers from all sorts of companies including some Dell printers. Hopefully I will find an answer. Wish me luck!!!
