and what are you doing at the time to make itunes freeze?

also, we need to know that stats of your mac (cpu and speed, ram, hard drive freespace, as well as the mac model, and version of the os), what kind of video file it is, what app you are playing it in, are you running any other apps at the same time. and so on.
