While playing quicktime movies there is no chapter selector that appears, but the movie is not anywhere near over. What am I or aren't I doing? The help menu is near worthless! I have serched the forum and nobody writes about such a seemingly basic topic. My infantile experience is not enough! PLEASE HELP!!

well, 1st off, please better describe what it is you are trying to do, and what the computer isn't doing. what app are you using to play the movie, what kind of movie file is it.

While playing quicktime movies there is no chapter selector that appears(as the help section says there ought to be), the movie stops when the arrow gets to the end of the slider but the movie is not anywhere near over. When I click on the "highlight" arrows it sometimes moves past where it stopped. I'm not sure what I'm doing to make it advance What am I or aren't I doing? The help menu is near worthless! I have serched the forum and nobody writes about such a seemingly basic topic. My infantile experience is not enough! PLEASE HELP!!

well, a quick google brought up apple's web site on qt chapters, and it looks like chapters only work with qt pro, not the free qt.
