Entourage problem
I use Entourage for my primary mail client, but on a peer network with two other PCs on which I use Outlook...all hooked up to Exchange. When using Entourage the problem doesn't exist...but when I send a message to anyone using the same Outlook account from one of the PCs, or from my OWA account, the SENT message shows up in my inbox on the Entourage machine...not in the SENT messaged folder, where it should be. On the Windows PCs it is correctly in the SENT Messages folder.
I know...I could make a rule (just in Entourage) that takes all inbound messages sent FROM me and puts them into the SENT folder, but I really wanted to find out if this is a known bug, or what. Thanks. LarryMcJ |

Nothing there either, though it's difficult to search for things on a page that is 467 scrolls long <g>. I'll keep digging around....but I can't believe I'm the only person with this problem. But then again, there probably aren't too many people with both Entourage and Outlook on two machines on the same network. If all else fails, I can use a free support incident with Microsoft Support.

Re: Entourage problem
Hello,
I don't have any help on this particular problem, but I have another Entourage problem that someone might be able to help me with. A short while back Entourage flashed me a message that it only has 4 GB of storage and I was within 100mb of being there. I thought this odd as I do clean up my trash. But I was able to back off about 500mb that had been put inot folders. Then I ran a compacting as advised. The next day it advised that I had 50mb of room left...as though it hadn't seen anything deleted. Within two days it wouldn't let me open at all, saying that it was full up. I know I can reinstall and set it up again, though I'll lose everything in the current setup. Is there a way get it to work again, so at the very least I can download my address book and my stored folders? |

Re: Entourage problem
Sounds like you need to archive or delete some of your mail - see the following note(s) from Microsoft:

Re: Entourage problem
please start your own thread, as your problem is different.
now, is the problem the app it self, or is it because your hard drive is getting full? what is the free space of your hard drive?
