How to network Imac to Dell?

I received a reply from NETWORKING, but writer knew nothing about MACs

I have DSL from Qwest, using a "2Wire" (brand) modem/router/wireless. I have successfully connected a IMac (OS 9), hardwired with cat 5 cable, and a DELL notebook (OS, XP Media Center) wirelessly. The IMac has an HP printer connected by a USB cable.

How can I set up a home network to be able to use the printer wirelessly from the DELL notebook?

well, the main problem is that you are running os 9.1. anything older than os 10.2.8 either doesn't play well with windows, or not at all, and os 9 falls into the not at all group. the only thing i could suggest is that you open the control panel "apple menu>control panel>usb printer sharing" and click the "start" button. after its ready, you could try to find it from a print dialog box in windows after selecting find a shared printer. but i'm almost 100% sure that os 9 can not network with windows.

You are right, OS 9 can't do anything with windows... That was a major improvement with OS X (10)...
