Hello all,
This is a question about php/mySQL in FC4: I thought it would be a good idea to put up a forum on my server so people can post about a game server I have running- good maps to keep and/or rotate more, bad maps, discussion about games and such... However, when I downloaded phpBB and put everything in the www folder, and try to go to my web address, it comes up with an error. phpBB : Critical Error Could not connect to the database I have the mySQL daemon started and it says it's started properly. I have tried selecting version 3.x, and 4.x/5.x in the phpBB options, but neither works. I also tried postgreSQL but that did not work either. Am I doing something wrong, or is my sql database system not talking to my php stuff? |
