I downloaded ubuntu live yesterday so I could try and use linux for the first time. After I burned the .iso file to a cd, I left the cd in the drive and restarted. But then it says something about USB drive not found, and has DR-DOS D:\>, and nothing else on the screen. Help me...

Ok, so is the CD drive you are using USB connected or internal? And your BIOS settings, is the CD drive set to boot first? How did you burn the .iso file?
