Forgot admin password...suse 10

I went and forgot the admin password....any way of recovering or changing it?

this almost borders on hacking... but what you can do if you have physical access to the computer is to put in a LiveCD and recover the shadow file, then crack the password that way.

yeah well just my dad and I use the comp but I'm the only one that uses linux. He only uses XP. I'd need some more detailed instructions though...I'm fairly new to Linux. I don't want to reinstall because I got everything customized exactly how I want it.
