Mandrake 9.2

I am a newbie when it comes to Linux and need a little help with getting going. I am planning on setting this maching up as my firewall/router. So far I have on NIC pulling an IP but the other one does not. Even though it has an IP I cannot get online with it. Any tips? Thanks

please post the out put of ifconfig -a please.
