Booting issue with Gentoo
I want to boot and install gentoo on my laptop Dell Latitude CPi(PII 233, 128MB RAM, 4GB) but when it boots and gets to 'Attepting to mount CD :- /dev/hdc I dont know whats wrong. I know someone with the same laptop and has gentoo on but i cant boot it! I can boot ubuntu and knoppix so does anyone know whats wrong?

Wouldn't know myself, it would probably help if you told us what's in /etc/fstab and what's in your boot loader configuration file. (For example, for grub, it's /boot/grub/grub.conf)

Well I cant do that because i cant get it to pass the boot stage. It did say after about 5 hours 'No Bootable Medium found' 'attempting to mount new devices'
