I have RH 9 installed on one of my boxes, and I just downloaded the FC5 isos to give it whack, and when I load up the installer, when I choose upgrade, it hitches up a little bit later giving me an error that looks like this:

If you use CD software like Nero, be sure to check the 'finalize CD upon completion' box. I got this error continuously from the FC5 disc 1, which was burned on CD-R media, but the button wasn't checked. Finalized the disk and all was well. If you use mixed media (CD-R and CD-RW) it is an easy mistake to make.

You may also want to check the option to verify the written data on the CD as well as check the md5sum of the downloaded ISO's. At this point, it's probably best for you to re-attempt the upgrade to allow the install to properly finish and configure your system. If the install failed, then there's probably a lot of stuff that's not properly configured.
