gcc compiler

Im a newbie in Linux world. I have installed Red Hat Linux (8.0), how can i install gcc compiler?

I'd assue it came with the distro

If it didn't you should be able to say

wow, redhat 8, i would recommend updating to a more recently updated distro like Ubuntu or Fedora Core

there are additional compilers for C++ and development files you'll need in order to compile software but that should give you a start
