Sound problems in Mepis/Debian
How to get the information used by KDE sound player in
system notifications applied to other other software volume controls and EQ. Loading alsaconf hasn't worked, kmix doesn't work, etc. etc. The main volume slider on KDE desktop doesn't work either. There is sound, but no software control of volume in RealPlayer, xmms and system notifications in KDE desktop. The system notifications section of KDE has a player to sample sounds. This player's volume works, but nothing else for volume control on the install does. How can relate what works in sound notications to what doesn't work in the other programs? |
