I downloaded and burned this OS on dvd. It loads and then asks for Linux Login. How am I supposed to know the login and password? i just ran it for the first time and it never said anyhting about these.

You did something wrong or skipped something in the installation of the program. I suggest you go through the installation again (carefully) and follow the SUSE Linux User Guide directions that are found on Novell's website.

You cannot install from the LiveDVD (it's just a demo disc) you should just be able to hit enter and get in. To install you need to download and burn all 5 cds

That's probably what he did.

I never heard of a LiveDVD before. I figured the LiveCD's were meant for any demo type stuff.
