Suse 8.0 patches
Hi,
Am the network admin. for my firm and am new to linux. Our Mail server runs on suse 8.0 Linux. Some users recently complained about geting messages informing them that their email a/c were being used to send spams. Have equally gotten the message. A virus is obviously the cause. Have been trying to get patches by running the YAST 'system Update', but i keep getin 'patches not found'. Now i would want to apply Mcafee Anti-Virus but i read a thread on this forum saying that Linux does not need this product cause viruses ve no effect on it. Pls, is that right ? And how do i solve this problem. |

Well if you run a mail server, then you might want an anti-virus. Go Here for tgo's protection guide. It has an av for Linux, and two other things.
