linux sw for iso/bin/img/nrg... processing

hi all!

i just had a need to unpack an iso image... Ok, this was easy - just mount it and copy the files. although i'm interested how can i make the mount command accessible for all users to mount iso images, not just root?

secondly, i have couple of img/nrg images. wanted to unpack some files from them without burning the images and got stuck... 'cos i did not find any software for that!
could anyone help me in this area?

thanks!
