Suse9.2 pro - online slowness
I am still a very green newbie when it comes to linux. At this time I do not even now where the logs are to check, not sure about the software firewall. I basically only use the KDE interface
For some reason my linux machine has been very slow online. It is reacting like a Windows machine full of spyware and junk. First of all, half the time when trying to access this forum, it will not load. Get the error message that it cannot be found. Other sites are slow loading. I tried three different browsers - all the same problem. One other thing that might be related - and maybe not - in Konqueror after clearing cache, history, and such, it will stay clear for a little while then everything I deleted will reappear hours later. I have other computers with winxp and win98 and have absolutely no problems. They are all on the same home network. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

go to www.dslreports.com and take the tweak test. it will tell you what is wrong with your connection, your Net connections may still be set on something and this will tell you what to do.
