Flavor of linux...
I have Fedora core 3, and i'm a programmer(non-professional/Hobby), and FC3 seems so heavy, my computer stats are 533Mhz AMD K-62 192 MB RAM, 30 GIG HDD, and it's a model from 2000, so the processor is a little slower. I want a version f linux with a good Graphical Desktop, but will als run good on an old computer. I am 1337 with linux, so i know most commands and i'm not afraid to use the command prompt, but i would also like to use a GUI interface, Any suggestions?

Both KDE and Gnome (Gnome is Fedora's default) are a bit heavy on resources. You might want to look at a few other Desktops such as Fluxbox, Openbox, FCWM, etc. There are several lightweight Desktops for lower spec machines. Not all look great, but some look like stripped down versions of KDE/Gnome.
