Hi All,
In a move of stupidity i deleted the wrong partition, on that partition was FC3. On another partition I have Win XP. When i try to start my comp i get a grub command prompt.. Code:

If you will browse your Linux installation CD, in the dosutils there is a windows executable called restorrb.exe I've never used this myself, and I think in order to use it you will need to make it onto a floppy, and boot from the floppy to execute. You'll need to use the rawwrite utility to make the floppy.
forgot to mention, restorrb.exe is a utility to restore the MBR.

If you have a Windows 2000 or XP CD, you can boot using that and then use the Recovery Console. From there, you can run "fixmbr". If you don't have one of the above, you can download a bootdisk from http://www.bootdisk.com and hopefully one of those will have fixmbr.
Alternatively, you can re-install Linux.
