[SOLVED] help with drivers on a dual boot computer
i just recently got puppy linux and i also have another partition with windows xp sp3 it. Puppy linux works like a charm but i was wondering is it possible to get my driver for my nic on xp to work for linux and if so how?

Welcome to TSF!! The simple answer is no! drivers and all packages are written very differently for linux and windows. Are you having issues with your nic drivers, because we may be able to help you with them? Cheers!

Thanks for your time and help but i figured it out my wireless card has a broadcom chipset and it does not support linux i popped in a different nic and success

well i actually used three of them one was a linksys pcimia card model wpc54g
and the other was a linksys usb model WUSB54GP finally i ended up using a hawking usb i'm not sure of the model number though but this is the one that worked! |
