Need software that partitions monitor
I have a netbook which I love but its slow. I thought I woulfd replace Windows with Linux operating system and see if the lapse time between when I strike a key and when the response occures is reduced. I am getting ready to try SUSE. Also, I freuently connect my netbook to a 32" flat screen through a HDMI cable.
Does anyone know where I can find software that will subdivide the external display into four seperate windows and will run under SUSE or under Windows running inside SUSE's Virtual Manager. ![]()

Re: Need software that partitions monitor
Could you be a little more specific about divinding the screen into subwindows? It almost sounds like a tiling window manager would do what you want, but this may depend on what you want in each window (e.g. separate applications, sessions, workspaces, etc).
