P4P800-E Deluxe Raid0 as storage in Mandrake

Hi To all,

I am a newbie-linux user, and i have the follow problem.:

I have setup my pc by the follow way:

ASUS P4P800-E DELUXE
2x Maxtor 200GB SATA in Raid0 as Storage in Promise 378
1x Maxtor 80GB SATA as IDE in SaTA1 Port

I have a lot the data in the raid0, because is formatted with ntfs.

in the Maxtor 80gb i have two partittion, the firts with winXP, and the second with Mandrake 10.1.

When i boot with Mandrake, the raid0 not appear, and i trying to mount, but i can't, i don't know how to do that, i of course, dont want to loose my data.

Thanks
For any help

My System

I tried searching for this particular motherboard, but most sites weren't in english, so I wasn't able to find very much info regarding the RAID controller. What I was able to find is that it may be a Promise controller which should be supported. However, you may need to use Software RAID, which is probably what you're using under Windows anyway. I haven't setup RAID on linux, so I can't be of much help here. I did try searching ASUS' website, but it kept giving me web server errors so I finally gave up.
