I tried searching for this particular motherboard, but most sites weren't in english, so I wasn't able to find very much info regarding the RAID controller. What I was able to find is that it may be a Promise controller which should be supported. However, you may need to use Software RAID, which is probably what you're using under Windows anyway. I haven't setup RAID on linux, so I can't be of much help here. I did try searching ASUS' website, but it kept giving me web server errors so I finally gave up.
