Booting XP after Instaling linux???
Hello,
I posted this tread several months ago, and someone helped me and i managed to make it work, but now i can't... I installed PCLinuxOS on drive C:, and my Windows XP is on Drive K:, and now i can't boot XP, how to make it work? This is my MBR boot file: timeout 15 color black/cyan yellow/cyan gfxmenu (hd0,0)/boot/gfxmenu default 0 title linux kernel (hd0,0)/boot/vmlinuz BOOT_IMAGE=linux root=UUID=c5671d95-7d93-4985-a74f-127d16198b14 acpi=on splash=silent vga=788 initrd (hd0,0)/boot/initrd.img title linux-nonfb kernel (hd0,0)/boot/vmlinuz BOOT_IMAGE=linux-nonfb root=UUID=c5671d95-7d93-4985-a74f-127d16198b14 acpi=on initrd (hd0,0)/boot/initrd.img title failsafe kernel (hd0,0)/boot/vmlinuz BOOT_IMAGE=failsafe root=UUID=c5671d95-7d93-4985-a74f-127d16198b14 failsafe acpi=on initrd (hd0,0)/boot/initrd.img And this is what i get when i type this sudo fdisk -l in the Terminal: Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/hda1 * 1 1570 12610993+ 83 Linux /dev/hda2 1571 14945 107434687+ f W95 Ext'd (LBA) /dev/hda5 1571 1697 1020096 82 Linux swap / Solaris /dev/hda6 2608 12813 81979663+ 7 HPFS/NTFS /dev/hda7 12814 14945 17125258+ 7 HPFS/NTFS /dev/hda8 1698 2607 7309543+ 7 HPFS/NTFS Someone please help me ASAP!!! :( |
