Network seems slow with Squid & Dansguardian Running
Hello,
Well, after setting up my proxy on my network (which consists of about 150 machines that are Windows XP and Windows Vista), I initially setup 2 computers that are going through the proxy. it seems that when i add more pcs that go through the proxy...I get more users that tell me that the network seems slow. so, is there a way to set up this proxy to use caching to help speed up the network??? if so how can i do this??? if the computer needs to be resetup from scratch/reloaded...then this can also be done. Thanks for the help!!! |

You can check this or here or http://www.brennan.id.au/11-Squid_Web_Proxy.html. There are many resources for finding what you need, but do keep in mind, most want you to start by looking in the logs to see if there are any issues there.
