GCC Compiler

Hello,

I am taking a Computer programming class for college and my college runs a Linux server for their computer science department. My question is that I have Linux on my laptop computer but I am wanting to run the GCC compiler that we use at my college. Since I do have Linux will I be able to download the compiler and it be compatible and working?

Hi,

Yes the GCC compiler will be compatible, as long as the files that you are compiling are C files you should be all set.
