Ubuntu Beta 9.10 restart and shut down problems.

I have recently just installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my vista computer using wubi. I just upgraded to the 9.10 beta a few days ago and I can not shut down or restart my computer without manually doing it. When I try to restart or shut down the computer I get "Buffer I/0 error on device loop 0, logical block (random set of 7 numbers)," and it just sits there like that until I turn it off using the actual shut down button on the computer. Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

Hi,

Since you are talking about a beta product I would recommend that you post your question in the Installation and Upgrades forum. I might also see if ubuntu has a mailing list for beta software, there would be people on the list that could help you with that. I don't have a lot of advice for you at this time. I haven't done played with the beta yet.
