Ok here is what I'm trying to do:
I want to run an Icecast stream from A linuxbox, without a soundcard or a videocard, from audio files (ogg/mp3/wma/aac/flac) stored on another computer's smb share. And here is what I've managed to do so far: I converted some files to ogg and am using iceS to play some files in a playlist. It works fine, but I want to play my whole archive and I don't want to change everything to ogg. So I need to use somthing other than iceS. I've also managed to mount the smb share. What are some alternatives to using iceS? |
