trying to remove linux os from computer
im trying to build a server.
i have installed the server and gui version of linux but currently im not doing so well. i want to remove both os from the computer to start again please help as i currently cant get rid of them at all. demodraco |

Using a live cd of any recent gnome distribution - mint, ubuntu, fedora, suse will give you a tool called gparted. As the live cd session will be run solely in the ram and not on the drive, you can use gparted to remove and reformat the partition/s that you currently have the OS you wish to remove on. But be careful, and remove any external usb drives before doing this. I accidentally wiped an external drive once. It was Not Good. Gparted itself is pretty clear about what it does and how it does it. Wiping the partition also means that you will overwrite all information on it. Hope this helps and good luck!
