Setting up Wireless on Linux notebook - Help needed

Trying to set up internet access on my new Linux notebook. The notebook has detected a Wireless Access point (from the PC connection I have) but asks me to enter in a key before I can gain access.

Didn't have the key so phoned my PC tech support. They gave me a key to enter but it is incorrect.

Problem is, the incorrect key I entered is now recorded in the "Wireless Connection" section of my notebook and I can't find a way to clear it so I can re-enter the correct key.

Can anyone help?

I would like to know what distro of linux you are using, and if you have any type of password set up on your router so that you can access the internet.
