Re: samba server

Hi,

How are you connecting to your CentOS box from the windows box? I would recommend that you try to disconnect from the CentOS box on the windows side and then reconnect with the second user. If that doesn't work I can look for another way.

Cheers!

Re: samba server

from windows XP, click My network Places-> find Workgroup and click-> then click the Samba server and log in with username and password of a samba user, that i have created in Centos. Now , if I want to log off with that user and log in with another samba user, how can that be done?

Re: samba server

Hi,

Have you tried loging in with the second user without loging out of the first? I would start there and see what happens.

Cheers!

Re: samba server

if i login with the first user and then go out from the samba server area, and use some windows applications, later if i try to go into the samba server i am not asked to give a username and password. i just do double click on the samba server and i am in .This is happennig because i was logged in previously with the first user credentials and are someway stored. how can i log off as a first user and then log on as a second user?
