I have a problem with my Canon Pixma ip1000 in OS pcLinux. Though the printer set up and i given the test page the printer not responding. The correct software is not available in the canon web sight. I put CUPS printing system in the set up of PCLinux system. Kindly elucidate

Welcome to TSF!! I would have a look at the openprinting.org database. I did find some drivers for printers that are close to yours but now your exact model. You can try them and see what you get. Cheers!
