i need help in ubuntu 9.04
How do install directx 9 in wine. I tried it before but it didn't work. I found a video on www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlbVN26JaG8 to install directx 9, but he is using playonlinux, and is playonlinux better than wine with directx 9. Please help me!

Hi,
I am guessing that you are wanting DX9 because you want to play some game? I don't have a lot of experience with this but I do know that WINE does a pretty good job making sure that all the games they try are playable. I have played a lot of different games on my linux box such and Oblivion at one end of the scale and TF2 on the other end of the scale. I have never user playonlinux so I don't know much about them, but I have heard about them before. Hope this helps you. Cheers!
