Uninstall XP Guest in VBox
I have been running XP Pro as a guest in VirtualBox under Ubuntu Jaunty. I am now at the point where I want to uninstall XP and free up the activation key for use on another windows only PC install.
I can't figure out how to uninstall XP in a way that MSFT will know that the key is no longer being used. (Plus, I'd like to get the cleanest uninstall possible.) I could just uninstall Virtual but wouldn't that leave all kinds of XP traces behind? TIA Bill Mc |

Re: Uninstall XP Guest in VBox
Hi,
Welcome to TSF!! If you want to get rid of a vm on virtual box all you have to do is open the vm program and then click on the vm that you want to delete and choose delete or remove, I forget at this moment. Then the windows box will be gone completely. I hope this helps. Cheers!
