Can't FTP to ubuntu server
Hey guys, I just finished installing my ubuntu server, and i'm trying to FTP from windows to it. I'm using filezilla, and when i try to transfer to the Var/WWW folder, it says permission denied. This is one of the errors i'm getting:
Code: Error: /var/www/browse_foreigners.php: open for write: permission denied When i transfer to something in my home directory, it works fine though. Also, i can recall there was a way to send files to a ubuntu server though another ubuntu machine, using some sort of address in the file browser. Anyhelp would be greaty appricated. Thanks
