Issues with Songbird

I installed the program perfectly fine, but when trying to start it, I get the following error:

gstreamer-0.10/libgsth264parse.so
7f0c3d61c000-7f0c3d61d000 rw-p 00005000 08:05 1757968 /usr/lib/Could not initialize GStreamer: Error re-scanning registry , child terminated by signal

Any idea what I need to do here?

Hi,

Do you have GStreamer installed? This is were I would start. I would also see if you need to install any plugins or anything like that.

Cheers!

Re: Issues with Songbird

I'm almost positive that I do have it installed, but what's the exact package name, do you know? Also, what plugins would I need, if any?

I might look along those lines and see if you can find anything.

Cheers!
