[SOLVED] I think I completely broke my laptop --fixable or do i need a new one?

okay, i'll try my best to explain what has happened....

first I decided to install ubuntu over windows xp on my acer aspire one netbook, so theres no trace of windows left on it

well that was okay, then i decided for some reason to install 'puppy linux' on it as well..

i was having issues getting the internet to work on puppy linux

so i found this tutorial online
i cant even remember what it was exactly, but it involved going into terminal and blocking a file
i wish i could remember what it was...

anyway this is what happens when i try and boot up now
(its a youtube video and a bit blurry)

YouTube - my computer is ruined

I tried to install windows xp back on it but that didnt work either

Hi,

So let me see if I understand what is going on here. You currently have ubuntu and puppy installed on your computer. When you try to boot into ubuntu you can't because of the errors that it give you. What happens if you try and boot into puppy, does it work or do you get the same messages?

Cheers!

Hi,

Never feel silly when YOU are able to fix your own problem. I think that is great. Come back whenever you have a problem or stick around and see if you can learn some stuff.

Cheers!
