Pin VERY tiny fonts after a Kubuntu 9.04 install

ok so here's the thing, i have installed Kubuntu 9.04 and after going to the desktop all the next is RIDICULOUSLY small! i mean crazy small smaller than this!!!! by atleast half this size! i can't for some reason snap a screenshot. so that's a no go i know others have had the same issue, i'm a n00b with linux, have played around with ubuntu, SuSE 9.1, FC 4 and 5, little bit of mandrake, and got scared away by slackware lol. so i do not know how to even use commands or anything, i know one cammand arg, and that's "sudo" i think lol it's been a year or so since i messed with linux, so any ways. all my title bars, my desktop fonts, my menus, even pop up window texts, even display dialogs, are all crazy small fonts!

i don't know what to do. i have read somewhere to change the Xserver value to "-dpi 100" with some other command args in front but idk how to even get that far, can someone explain to me in GREAT detail or point me to a how to starting from the KDE desktop?

i can't even click on the menu button of the task bar only thing i recognize is Konquerer lol even if i get into the appearance properties or display properties everything is too small. can someone please help me? thank you. i will try to continue tinkering.
