Fedora 11

Greetings,

I am having trouble with Fedora 11. I can get as far as the time zone, but then there is a problem.

I started with the x86_64, asuuming it would work. According to the Fedora site, I should be using the i386 unless I have a certain processor.

Since the Turion 64 was not specifically listed for either build I am not sure which is even the correct one to use, so I am assuming the i386 would be correct.

I tried to get the full release dvd at " fedora/linux/releases/11/Fedora/arch/iso/Fedora-11-arch-DVD.iso " but I'm not sure how to access that... I had no luck tryring online.

Any help for the noob?

Re: Fedora 11

Thanks. Do you know if the source dvd is the same as the full distribution? I want to try that one, since I've already tried the other two. I did not do a checksum, but I did verify the disc. I am assuming that that is doing basicly the same thing.

I guess I shall try a checksum in fedora 10 on the x86_64 iso

Re: Fedora 11

I didn't know there was a spin with just the source? I would guess that it would be the same but unless you know how to compile it all yourself then I wouldn't give it a try.

Cheers!

Re: Fedora 11

Snooping, I found this : http://fedora.inode.at/fedora/linux/...source-DVD.iso

but I wanted to try fedora/linux/releases/11/Fedora/arch/iso/Fedora-11-arch-DVD.iso or even the minimal boot fedora/linux/releases/11/Fedora/arch/os/images/boot.iso but i can't seem to find them.

Would this be the minimal boot?

Re: Fedora 11

you'd find it under images - the boot.iso
http://fedora.inode.at/fedora/linux/..._64/os/images/
or you can try the live cd
