tiny linux?
I'm looking to run a webserver off a linux box, and will be starting with about 2gb hd space...
Are there any that would be able to handle this? Hopefully I will be getting a 16GB soon. So I guess what I'm looking for is the smallest installable version of linux I can find...any suggestions? p.s. I have 256mb of ram, geforce4 mx400(?), and p3(?) 700mhz, and small hd until I can convince my friend to let me have his 16 (the webserver is for him)

To keep any Linux small, select only the packages you need during the installation. X-window system, server, networking, DHCP. You won' need KDE, or Gnome, games, etc. The package installer GUI should keep a running total of the size of the packages as you make your selections.
