Re: WiFi Driver installation[Help Needed]

Hi,

Does the USB adaptor have linux driver files that can be used, or does it just have windows drivers. If you only have windows drivers then you can install a program called ndiswrapper. You can find this in the Synaptic Package Manager.

If you have linux drivers then I can help you install them it shouldn't be too hard.

Cheers!

Re: WiFi Driver installation[Help Needed]

try this page .. the other one doesn't get to the drivers .. it brings up a page that needs to be created.

http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Do...reless_drivers

if there is a driver here somewhere for your card, it should be here.

did another search

you'll find it here

http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/ar9170

ubuntu and kubuntu sjhould use the same driver

Looks like Atheros chipset
